Pramiti Habba in the facility at J. P. Nagar, 3rd Phase on 20th December, 2014

The Habba was a culmination of work from all environments and involved a complete learning process. Children and adults together explored different parts of their country and the world and put together aspects of the culture of the regions. Costumes, instruments, songs, dance, life style, jewellery, festivals and ceremonies formed the exploratory palette. Children performed song and dance sequences in different languages from Swahili to Konkini, they even learnt a few words in the various languages. The event was truly colourful and a clear example of the unity in diversity that we can find in the world. It was interesting to learn that the chose regions had similar traditions and were so similar in many ways although they were far apart from each other geographically.
